What's in a Name?

The names of the streets, buildings, or parks in your neighborhood help to tell the story of its past.  Often the names are given as a way of remembering people who have been important in a community.  Other names may tell something about an area.  For example, what can names like River Street or Railroad Avenue tell you?

Find a map of your community and look for streets, parks, or buildings with the following kinds of names.  Then list them in the spaces below.
